| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, September 29th, 2021: South Carolina's Tucker Gets Outstanding Pitcher Award
The regular season is history and it is time to give out the awards. This year's winner of the prestigious Sub League 1 Outstanding Pitcher Award is Dillon Tucker of the South Carolina Strom Thurmonds.
The 2021 trophy winner had a splendid season, winning 15 games and suffering only 6 losses. He made 26 starts, chalked up 184.1 innings, 203 strikeouts and an impressive 3.52 ERA.
The SBWA will honor all of the award winners this weekend at its annual meeting.

 | Monday, September 6th, 2021: HL Awards Player of the Week Trophy
This week's Player of the Week was Samuel Rocha of the South Carolina Strom Thurmonds.
His big bat belted and blasted Heinsohn League pitching for 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 8 RBIs while hitting .429 and scoring 5 runs.
In the 2021 season Rocha is batting .302 with 169 hits and 30 home runs. He has scored 96 times and batted in 107.

 | Saturday, September 4th, 2021: Kellner, South Carolina Reach Agreement on Extension
South Carolina announced that they have signed 33-year-old reliever Michael Kellner to a 3-year, $9,000,000 agreement that will have him playing at Strom Thurmond Memorial Park for the foreseeable future.
Taking a look at this year, Michael Kellner has made 30 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-2 won-lost mark and a 2.86 ERA. In pitching 44 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 9 walks.
