Freddy Pérez of the Boardwalk Popcorn Shrimp had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2022.
The 22-year-old first baseman put up a .299 average and a .427 on-base percentage, piling up 108 hits, 23 doubles, 1 triple, 39 home runs, 101 RBIs and 72 runs scored.

It was a quiet day for the Boardwalk Popcorn Shrimp at Black Flies Park today. It was Bernard Rubalcava the Cabuyao who made all of the noise. He shut them out 4-0, allowing 5 hits while walking 2 and fanning 2.
