Veteran Freddie Urbano put together quite a successful stretch in April for the Mildenhall R-Jays, earning himself the Kuffrey League Pitcher of the Month award.
Urbano racked up a 4-0 record in 6 starts, posting a 1.59 ERA over 45.1 innings and striking out 30.

All week long nobody could get Samuel Violette out in the Kuffrey League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week.
The Mildenhall left fielder took home the trophy by blasting 8 hits in 24 at-bats for a .333 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 6 times.
In his 2023 season totals, Violette has 5 home runs, .211 BA, .321 OBP, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |

BNN reports that the Mildenhall R-Jays have just agreed with starting pitcher Celso Hermosillo on a contract extension.
The total value is $7,500,000 for 3 years, which equals $2,500,000 per season.
