South Carolina right fielder Calvin Stoneburner really lit up the Minneapolis Beermen with a 5-hit barrage today at Strom Thurmond Memorial Park -- a performance that sparked the Strom Thurmonds to a 15-4 triumph.
He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes."
C. Stoneburner singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off J. Contreras in the 8th.

"It was just one of those games, shake it off and do better next time," he said.
James Ridinger blanked them on 3 hits with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.
"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs. They were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Ridinger said.
"I set them up pretty good, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."
This season Ridinger has worked 137.1 innings with 99 strikeouts en route to a 7-6 record and a 3.01 ERA. | | Monday, June 28th, 2021: Week's Top Performer Honored by HL The Heinsohn League has selected its Player of the Week.
