| Breaking News | | Monday, May 17th, 2021: Connall Red-Hot, SL2 Player of the Week This week's top performer in the Sub League 2 was third baseman Steve Connall of the Buffalo Pikes.

He tantalized the New Jersey Nightdorks with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest and came away with a 4-0 shutout.
In the postgame comments, the New Jersey skipper said, "He had the changeup working. You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower."
The Buffalo hurler had 3 strikeouts, gave up 2 walks and surrendered 4 hits in his complete game effort.
Dunlap told reporters after the game, "To be successful in this league, you have to keep the ball down. If you don't, they'll make you pay."
This season Dunlap has compiled a 1-3 record with a 4.10 ERA in 6 starts. | | Tuesday, April 27th, 2021: Barr Shackles Buffalo Kenny Barr was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He blanked the Buffalo Pikes 10-0 on 2 hits and had 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.
"You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Buffalo skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Rochester Pistols.
"He just had a real deceiving fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
To date this season Barr is 4-2 with 6 starts and an ERA of 2.42 with 16 strikeouts in 44.2 innings. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 16-38, .296 PCT | | Position in Division | 5th, 22.0 GB | | Record at home | 10-17, .370 PCT | | Record on the road | 6-21, .222 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 3-4, .429 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 7-10, .412 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 3-9, .250 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 13-29, .310 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record in April | 7-20, .259 PCT | | Record in May | 9-18, .333 PCT |
