"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Rogers. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Sea Hawks star told reporters.
Rogers excelled with an impressive 7-0 record in 8 starts. In 63.2 innings he yielded 50 hits and 11 walks, while striking out 41 and compiling a fine 2.40 ERA. | |
