 | Saturday, July 11th, 2020: SL2's Best Batsman Selected, It's Delvalle There was nobody hotter in the Sub League 2 this season as Genaro Delvalle attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance and came away with the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2020. The 25-year-old first baseman hit .352 collecting 68 hits, 21 doubles, 3 triples, 9 home runs and 34 RBIs. He also scored 39 runs and posted a .494 on-base percentage. For being named the SL2's #1 batter Delvalle will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend. |
