"There are a lot of talented hitters in the league, to be at the top of that list is an extremely humbling goal," said the 28-year-old.
On the season, Ortíz put up 170 hits, 30 doubles, 11 triples and 2 home runs. He also added 65 RBIs and scored 72 runs.

Buffalo Narrowly Wins Heinsohn League Woodson Division
Monday, October 6th, 2087
The Buffalo Wings have silenced their critics, backed up those who believed in them and won the Heinsohn League Woodson Division.
"You always think you've got a chance to win the division, but until you get it done you never really know how things are going to play out," said reliever Ch'ang-chieh Lung. "I think we're all grateful to get the chance to vie for the OTBA Championship."
It is the 25th division crown for the franchise and the team manager said in a sporting landscape where you are judged by what you've most recently accomplished, "it feels incredibly good to be at the top of the pile."
